Breakfast Topic: How are you spending the last few days of the Midsummer Fire Festival?

The Midsummer Fire Festival officially ends on July 5th, just a few scant days away. That means no more Lord Ahune, no more chances to get the Deathfrost enchant, no more desecration, no more turning into a crab, no more Torch Tossing... Yeah, I'm a little bummed too.
Still, we have a couple days left to make the best of it. Of course, the question is -- what exactly do we do with it? Myself, I'm torn. My enchanter still needs the Deathfrost enchant, so I may want to get a group together and go slay Ahune a few more times. Then again, I still haven't gotten some of the Midsummer loot on a couple of my 70s, so maybe I want to make a push to get the last few blossoms for those.
But I'm also thinking that it would be nice to get my shaman to level 30 before Patch 2.4.3, and thus I'm tempted to just go out and slog through the last few levels with her, bolstered by the all the various Fire Festival buffs and the Ribbon Dance buff.
I'll have to think about it some more, but in the meantime, do you have a plan for these last few days of the Midsummer Fire Festival?

To be honest, other than a little bit of fun I had during the odd PvP moment while extinguishing fires, the majority of this holiday entirely passed me by. The buff was nice, but never up, and when I lit my (Alliance) bonfire it was out by the time my bird had hit 100 feet. So I stopped bothering, as I had more important things to do.
I'll probably spend these last few days entirely ignoring the holiday, doing heroic runs for Badges of Justice.

By farming for the Scythe.... I passed the first 2 I saw on the first day to a much deserving Warlock and Spriest, only to discover that it has not dropped again since..... 30 summons a day since the second day of the festival starting..... I'm starting to hate this place!

leveling an alt while i still have the 10% bonus exp and fire damage when I get hit. :D

I have a half day at work so I'll probably buff my lvl 25 and to some leveling.

Fortunately, I got the Deathfrost enchant on my first kill, though I would still like the Scythe for my warlock and mage. Sadly, it seems that people are fed up with the encounter and thus most of my time has gone and still goes with flying around, honoring, desecrating and stealing every flame I can.
Currently I have gotten the Crown on all my 70s and one 52, who will be getting the very last bit out of the nice buffs to help get past the dreadful 52-58.
For me it has been an enjoyable holiday and certainly an alternative to farming dailies for gold.

I am after the scorchling pet from Ahune. It dropped the first time I beat him and I lost the roll. Hasn't dropped since. The enchant drops left and right, but not that bloody pet!

Finishing up the outland summer quests on my third character. I guess, I'm up to round 1500 gold from all of it? I folded laundry, worked out a little, did a few things around the house, all the while flying between cities and auto running. It's been the easiest money I've ever made.
And probably going to run my 29 pally through a few times with that +10% xp buff. But I never had a time issue with any character while leveling, so that's a nice cherry on top.

I kinda burnt myself out on the "go everywhere in the world and collect these items" type quests with the Lunar Festival stuff, so I haven't done any of the stuff for this one. I might go in to kill Ahune for the tabard, but that's about it. I do wish I could have put in the work for the pet and the fire dancer thing, but meh.

Still don't have my cloak from Ahune, so a few more runs of that, and taking advantage of the buffs to level my alt. And I still have over a hundred blossoms left, gonna try to make those Elderberry Pies last as long as possible.

I still want to murder Ahune to get the tabbard. Other than that, he doesn't drop anything I need or want.

It's been a confusing festival for this casual player. Our guild is too small to run the instance. The torch toss dailies are impossible to do with the intermittent lag . If I can find the person to turn the blossoms into I will, but they will probably get tossed for more bag space.

enjoy the XP buff on my alt that I'm leveling up. Main doesn't need the ahune loot, but it was fun killing him a few times and getting the tabard.

i'm pretty much done with the stuff for myself. i wrote off my ability to do Ahune as non-existant after the first five wipes; i got the full and complete outfit plus brazier on my main; i got the dress on my working alt and should be at 40 tomorrow from the torch quests; i got my bank alt to level 5 on just the torch quests [so that she can have a bigger variety of vanity clothes]...
Ayup. Now i'm just assisting others who want the same goodies.
i'm looking forward to the Fireworks. !! i need to remember to bug our engineer about getting some cluster launchers together. i still have some lucky cluster rockets from New Years.

I got the outfit, but still have 177 burning blossoms, so I need to find a way to use them. I spent way to much time defiling bonfires to let them go. I also want a scorchling! :D

I would really like to spend the rest of the festival farming Ahune, but there seems to be absolutely 0 interest in going to fight him. Maybe it's just the time that I'm asking.

since you can get 100 blossoms in as little as 3 and 3/4 levels by ghost running to the areas I have been getting shoulders for my lvl 5, and 2 lvl 10 twinks.
it is a real pain but so worth it to see those huge shoulders on a super low lvl twink.

I respecced from frost to arcane pugged Ahune on my mage and downed him a couple of times (got the tabard and the cloak). However, I cant seem to get him down on my prot pally. My healer keeps dying.

I spent about 3 hours over the last week taking my L54 Lock to L57 by exploring everywhere, including all but the BEM flames (I had a friend escort me to Area 52). Lots of xp, Lots of gold. Good times for easy leveling.
