Seriously? You took a rock, painted it green and put glitter on it... Not it's a $16 rock. Anyone who pays for this garbage is an utter idiot.

I got Stickers!
DPS and WOOT for me!
Maer Jul 7th 2008 4:33PM
Those things look like the "His and Her" lubes made by KY LOL
See for yourself!
Smurk Jul 7th 2008 4:34PM
Huh, are negative comments getting deleted today? That's the second time I've seen one vaporize.
Smurk Jul 7th 2008 5:07PM
I'm simplifying in the same way one might call something "a green rock with glitter" (though this could be accurate, I dunno, I didn't look at the products).
Smurk Jul 7th 2008 4:36PM
Er, forget that. My original point -- a lot of people would consider paying $15 a month to kill digital wolves a pretty poor investment in the first place.
Goldleader Jul 7th 2008 4:59PM
I would say that if you are spending $15 dollars a month to only simply kill digital wolves then perhaps it is a poor investment, but if you are doing more than that maybe it isn't.
Gulbrandt Jul 8th 2008 11:55AM
There are lots of silly things to spend $15 on. It is really up to the individual. If they themselves feel they are entertained and feel the price is worth it, then it probably was. :)

Is this legal? I mean, she's making designs from WoW's designs. I can see the mana and healing potions, that's not copywritten. But the hearth stone design is trademarked along with the rune portals. Wouldn't it? She's also calling it a "hearthstone." Just curious.
Marty Jul 7th 2008 7:07PM
My guess would be that Blizzard does indeed have the grounds for a cease and desist order for the hearthstone and runes.
Whether or not they choose to pursue it, or when, is another matter entirely.

Um, those items are horribly crafted and incredibly overpriced.
jenn Jul 7th 2008 9:56PM
True that. Also? The support ribbons don't stick well and fade quickly. The keychains fall apart. And when she promises she'll fix something from these complaints, she doesn't.
Trem Jul 7th 2008 8:28PM
Look I put some colored water in a glass thing and attached a string to it!
$15 please.
Travis Green Jul 7th 2008 9:01PM
I lold!
Einzer Jul 7th 2008 8:57PM
Grab a pack of cell phone accessory lanyards, a few packs of sculpy/fimo at your local craft store and voila - make one for yourself and friends for less than $15. This just strikes me as a DIY project.
The profiting off of copyrighted material is not cool. As a so called artist, I wonder if she would be upset if someone were to profit off of her original designs?
Vicerious Jul 9th 2008 11:45PM
Yeah, they're cute and all, but this is the kind of "cute" that your toddler shows you coming home from preschool craft day. The healthstones, in particular, look pretty pathetic. Green blobs? Seriously?
As mentioned before, that shop also violates all kinds of copyright law. Fair use only covers you if it's not for profit.
Please, WoWInsider, if you're going to shamelessly advertise for shops like this, at least make sure that they're legitimate with at least passably decent products.
