Blizzard Authenticator may or may not be for sale again

In what may or may not be good news today from the Blizzard Store, it looks like the Blizzard Authenticator was back on sale for a short time. It sold out rather early, and there was some rockiness with some orders, but it looks like Blizzard's at least trying to get back on track in delivering this extra layer of account security. Unfortunately, although it was showing as purchasable just an hour ago, it once again shows up as Sold Out currently.
There's no word yet on whether they've fixed any problems with keeping the Authenticator in stock, so it may be that they simply got in one shipment and are waiting for another. Hopefully, that shipment comes soon and they can work out their stocking problems a little more permanently. Until then, I'd sit tight and wait a bit. At the least, you don't want to be like the poor folks tipster Aaron pointed out to us, who are bidding up to $93.00 for one on eBay.

Is there some risk buying a security token on ebay? I know at the company I work these keys are only mailed out in a secure envelope from the home office (in San Jose) - the local IT guys don't have them.

Mine shipped on the 2nd or 3rd and I will haven't received it. Shouldn't take 8-10 business days since I live on the west coast.

I ordered mine the first day they were available at about 8 am cst. It has been "shipped" for about 5 days now and I still haven't gotten it.

It will be really tragic to see these disappear so quickly. My guild leader (who has multiple 70s) got hacked night before last and ALL of the gear he had that could be disenchanted was taken and a lot of stuff out of our 3-tabbed guild bank was gone as well. Although, some of us came to a conclusion that it wasn't a person, it was a third party program that recorded his keystrokes that got his account info, still... I guess what i'm trying to say is if you don't have this and you have a 70 or two or more, really be careful what programs (mods and add-ons, etc) you download because sadly enough there is a high market for fake money. It's pathetic and tragic.
