paladins have a place on a great many bosses as it is. tidewalker and jan'alai come to mind as bosses that more or less require a paladin tank to be done easily. certainly there are many more fights that lend themselves to paladin tanking; those two are just examples.*more* bosses might be a good request, i guess, but since TBC came out there has certainly been an increase, via patched-in content, in the utility of a geared paladin tank.one class will always be best at main-tanking; it's the nature of the game. right now, that's a warrior. unless blizz fundamentally changes the nature of a "boss fight," warriors seem likely to remain best, and it's only fair. what other class runs into an instance unable to do anything particularly well besides tank single, heavy-hitting enemies?it's unfortunate, i agree, that paladins are forced to fill something of a niche role, but i disagree that their utility as tanks is much less critical to progression than the utility of a warrior.here's to more variety in boss-fights, i suppose.
