Angus summed it up really really nicely. Tanks all have their special niches, which is okay, but it's not like other tanks -can't- fill other rolls. I'm a paladin, I've MTed all the bosses in Kara, ZA and what not. I'm not as good as a Warrior doing it, but I can do it. And at a few points, like the princes second phase, I'm actually better at it, because I don't fall into that crushing range like a warrior does.Getting rid of Crushing blows is a bit of a boon for all tanks. I originally thought it was a bit of a nerf to Paladins, cause being uncrushable was one of our selling points. But now, tanks don't need to stack avoidance quite as much,to reach that golden number, and can focus on things that raise DPS and Threat. And for bears well, it's not really a nerf. Because now you're no longer taking those huge crushing blows. So you're the HP soak tank. Still having at least 10k more HP than the highest warrior or paladin, and more armor to boot, you'll be able to take far more hits for a longer period or time. And lets face it. Druids are the threat tanks as well. Which means your DPS will be able to rock out more than other tanks.
