I find this a ridiculous article.
As we play with friends in a fixed setting of 1 Holy Pala, one DPS Pala and a hunter the best we came after 5 months of Arena is 1550+.
Right now we are at 1535 and we play with speech and do hundreds of Arenas.
It says much about the arena system if you know one of us has a horde rogue and he hoes to 1750 without any problem in just pick up groups.
It shows that with the same player playing a hunter or a rogue is already a 200 points difference (and surely playing along with 2 palas in 3vs3 doesn't help either).
That's why we level an alliance rogue at the moment to replace the hunter in 70% of the fights to help the palas get to 1700. The hunter will level with a druid in a 2vs 2.
It all shows that arena is all about set ups.
One point I agree. Even as a new character you can plan to participate in arena if you play BG's as of level 61. In a matter of a few weeks you already can have Merciless gear and built up.
BUT having 1650 is NOT easy for every class.
