Around Azeroth: Aggro every bear
Well, I really can't complain. Emily and I had seven good years together. Saw the whole continent, from Elwynn to Plaguelands, and raised a couple of beautiful cubs. That's more than a lot of folks get in this world. If only that leatherworking bastard hadn't ... sorry, sorry. I still get upset about it. He's long dead now, of course, and I've got a new place to live. Each of the cubs has their own room now. And at least I can see my Emily every day.
(Thanks to Aetsin of <Serious effing guild> on Turalyon.)
Do you have any unusual World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see it on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. We prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no sunsets.

Clever title, I can't believe I remember that stupid thread on the WoW forums.

why is Emily referred to as a he?
Lesley Jul 16th 2008 11:19AM
Perhaps the "he" in "he's long dead" refers to the Leatherworking Bastard. After all, he aggroed the bear.
jwbowyer Jul 16th 2008 11:24AM
He as in the leatherworker who apparently killed and turned "Emily" into the rug we now see.
Kuhtarl Jul 16th 2008 11:14AM
Referring to the leatherworker?
wrez Jul 16th 2008 11:21AM
I think the idea is that our hero tracked the leatherworker down, "dispatched" him, and now has a nice new crib.

Skinning a bear should aggro every bears
in a 40 yard radius. It makes sense, you are actually skinning their best friend.
Ametrine Jul 16th 2008 11:40AM
Or wife, in this case, it seems.

Hmm, does it appear to anyone else that the drood is getting *friendly* with the bear-skin?
Mark Jul 16th 2008 8:42PM
Would that be "bear style" in this case?
