It's not about whose time is more valuable. It's about being nice to your fellow players instead of selfish. The Tank can use this trinket in nearly every fight he tanks including the rest of your Magisters' run. The Hunter will only use in PvP a couple times maybe until he gets some PvP gear. It's best for everyone if we're all not selfish. This item is really really good for tanking. Stamina is vital for tanking. The proc is brilliant because you're likely to get attacked from the front where you can dodge while tanking. It's Average at best in Hunter PvP - the proc doesn't work against Magic damage, doesn't work from behind, doesn't worked while stunned or feared. It's like a Hunter rolling on a 2Hand Melee weapon when a Paladin or Warrior wants it, or a Rogue Rolling on a Bow when a hunter wants it. A healer might use a spell dmg weapon when soloing, but a warlock will use it in PvP/Raiding/Soloing - I think it's common courtesy to let him have it.A warrior tank might not have anything better than "Tunic of the Ranger Lord" for DPSing - but wouldn't it be best for both of them if the Hunter passed on the "Commendation of Kael'thas" and the warrior passed on the Tunic then kept running until he got "Netherforce Chestplate".
