I am almost completely ileterate when it comes to intricate matters of wow lore but the description here reminds me a lot of eranikus in sunken temple, is that dragon somehow linked to ysera apolegies for the noobery.

Eranikus is also a Green Dragon, one of Ysera's consorts(husband kinda thing). So yes, Eranikus has also fallen to the Nightmare. If you look him up on wowwiki.com they have a nice summary of things.
