so, is this runeforging the answer to the death knight profession question? perhaps death knights will be required to take runeforging and some yet-to-be-named new gathering profession designed specifically to gather reagents for runeforging. if so, will it be a death knights only profession? i mean obviously runeforging will, but what about the gathering? i could see myself taking skinning & "ruen-reagent-gathering" on a new non-DK toon, & rocking the AH. granted, i'd still rather have skinning & mining, but you get my point.

Blizzard would not do that; they know that the playerbase would hate that idea. I'm sure runeforging will be a class skill like rogues' poisons and lockpicking.
