If I remember correctly, there has been 1 Forsaken that has been cured of Undeath in WoW. High Inquisitor Fairbanks. Why doesn't news of this reach the Forsaken? I would think some, like Leonid Barthalomew the Revered would jump at the chance! It appears that the Light did cure him (well, it was Mograine, but the light nonetheless) so could this lead to a faction of Forsaken trying to gain access to the light to be "cured"?
Just my musings...what do you think?

If Fairbanks is who I think you're talking about, he's not 'cured' of anything - the Scarlet Crusade keeps him locked in a hidden room for a good reason.

I stand corrected; he can BE restored, with the Corrupted Ashbringer as part of its storyline.
