Here's a Wrath question (or several perhaps) for the Ask column:
By now, I'm sure many of you have seen the great video, detailing the last quest from the Death Knight starting area. If not, do yourselves a favor and check it out. (it's fairly easy to find with a search)
My question involves The Ashbringer... Both the sword and the man. In the movie, as well as at the starting area, the corrupted version of the legendary sword is being wielded not by the Naxxramas version of Mograine, but by his son Darion. Any idea yet how it is that the sword gets passed down? While we're at it, has any background been found out about Darion? I assume that he's the lost son that was supposed to have gone to outland, according to the old Ashbringer/Scarlet Monestary story.
May as well keep going on about the video... Tirion Fordring mentions something that is buried beneath Light's Hope Cathedral, something powerful enough to keep even The Lich King at bay. Any idea what it might be? Even though the old Ashbringer/SM storyline suggested that the Corrupted Ashbringer was unable to be cleansed, Fordring seems to have purified it simply by taking hold of it and attacking Arthas. How is he able to cleanse the uncleansable? Could it be due to whatever is below LHC?
