I have a few of questions:
1) So the Naaru basically are aliens that heard the Eredar were in trouble and came to their world to help them, the group they saved thought of them as gods and fled the planet with them, and then the Naaru found new races and said “hey, we’re gods with the power of light!” and are now being revered by a handful of others as well as the Dreanei…
So doesn’t that make the Naaru kind of like the Guauld, except not evil…or slugs?
2) According to Wiki, and you yourself have said that (except for what the Naaru bring of course) the light is more a power of ones self and not truly power given by an omnipotent force. That being said, is it really so against the lore as some have claimed to allow the proud Gnomish people to harness that inner power to help further aid their friends in the Alliance?
I am one of those people that you can see every once in a while on the WoW forums asking for Gnomish priests, and I fail to see why they can’t use the holy power within themselves. Gnomes are good people, completely unselfish (they blew up their own city because they didn’t want to bother their friends asking for help when they were at war with other forces) and they have been contributing to the Alliance in many ways. Using the power of the light inside themselves seems like another way that the tiny titans of Dun Morogh (and Northrend I hope) could help aid in all the troubles the Alliance are facing.
3) Again, about Gnomes. I have read a couple things that said that it is speculated that Gnomes may be originally from Northrend; however I expect to have to wait until Wrath of the Lich King to find out. I’m just curious, as a lore nerd what’s your take on this?
