Inscriptions are a terrible terrible idea, from the very beginning. Why?Because unlike gear, you can only have one set of spells. This means that insciriptions will pigeonhole you more into one spec, and only playing one aspect of the game. I can have one set of gear for PvP, another for healing and yet another for dps. For example. My gear is enchanted for that purpose and after a respec (which they ironically will make easier) I can still be optimized for it.But with Inscriptions I will be stuck with my 6 PvE inscritpions when I want to do arena.Sure, it may be possible that you can change inscriptions, but it will still be a hell of a hazzle to go through that every time you respec (not to mention that it can't be done when you swap out gear in an instance).Imagine if you had to re-enchant your gear in order for it to be fully top notch every time you swap it in.Why they chose to go for this system of adding more customization and flexibility instead of improving enchanting to do the exact same thing is way beyond me. A revamped enchanting profession would have been a so much better solution.
