See, I was hoping I'd be able to inscribe every spell, 6 total glyphs with 2 of them only able to change a spell cosmetically isn't very exciting at all. I had high hopes for this profession, now, not so much, we'll see though maybe they'll still pull off something worthwhile (I hope).

Yes but at least it keeps everyone on even footing. Who do you want to go up against in a BG or Arena? The guy who can only have 6 just like you or the person who stockpiled 20k gold pre Wrath and had plenty of cash with 50+inscriptions rolling over you and laughing. Its all about balance. And really, there are certain spells that what else can you do but a cosmetic change, like polymorph?

But I agree with what you're saying, makishima. :) It IS all about balance, and I think six slots is sufficient (even if it's just to start with). More bag space each time an expansion comes out--there might be more glyph slots in the far future.
