Official Wrath talent calculators on EU site
At a glance, I didn't notice any differences between this and the calculators that have been up on Wowhead (and elsewhere) for a little while - i.e., they both reflect the current beta versions of everything. And I actually find that the Wowhead calculators run better for me (after all, talent calculators were Wowhead's original reason for being). Still, it's exciting to see these made official: a sign that the Lich King draws ever nearer. Can anyone spot a difference between the official calculators and what we already knew?
Update: Now up on the US site too (thanks, Darias).

There is definately a difference in the icons that are used. The EU site has that weird picture of a guys face that we see sometimes for some of the icons as placeholders. I am too lazy to look for actual differences in the talents though :(.

I like the Icon for 'Killing Machine' in the DKs frost tree...

Actually I found one. Haunt the 51 point warlock affliction talent says 12% of base mana on Wowhead and on the EU site it says 434 mana.

Same thing with the paladin 51 point protection talent. Mana costs are different.

Often Blizzard's calculators state the final cost of a spell over the calculation. Could that be the case here?

On druids, improved MotW is still 5 points on the europe site, but only 2 on wowhead. The 5 points only correspond to the current 35% increase instead of the projected 40% on wowhead.

The Shaman trees have a few differences. Ancestral Knowledge matches the BC talent, not the 2% INT per level leaked version. Unleashed Rage and Improved Stormstrike are reversed. Spectral Transformation has 5 ranks instead of 2. Elemental Focus doesn't mention healing spells. The bonus to Water Shield in Improved Shields doesn't go up after the first point. Improved Fire Nova totem doesn't mention a stun. Call of Flame doesn't mention Lava Burst.
The list goes on. Seems like they didn't change existing talents, only added the new ones, and even then not quite right every time.

you beat me by a few.
Fire nova no longer has a stun, apparently getting more than 1 CC was too much...

I noticed the much touted improvements to the magic absorption arcane mage talent are not there. It still has a set number of 10 for resistances instead of the 1 point per level. Other preexisting talents such as Arcane focus DO reflect proposed changes, so I do not know what to think.

Pally stuff still has the "Blessing" noted for things like Protection and Freedom, even though those are "Hand" spells now.

LOL:
Look at unleashed rage and improved stormstrike in the enhancement tree of the shaman...

The mage talent Magic Absorption still has its existing (TBC) tool tip. Hopefully it'll get changed to match the nice buff as described on wowhead.

Druid restro tree is awful on the official version - bloated all over again. Instead of Nature's Focus and Imp Mark taking 5 points between each other, they're five points *each*. It's pretty rotten.
WatcherZero Jul 21st 2008 5:35PM
Priest and Shaman appear ahead of beta, every other class is more or less identical to beta with a couple of icons not uptodate bar mages which are slightly and druids which are very out of date!
Brian Jul 21st 2008 5:57PM
The Hunter tree looks close but I noticed that the top tier talent in Survival requires 3 points in a 1 point talent so there is an error.
Brian Jul 21st 2008 6:00PM
Apparently this error is repeated in the other trees too. Whoever typed up the Hunter talents messed up in a few places. Aimed Shot requires 1 point in Mortal Shots when it should be 5, etc.

The Ancestral Knowledge talent in the first tier of the Shaman enhancement tree is different on the US/EU sites than on wowhead. The US/EU calculators says "increase your maximum mana" and wowhead still says "increase your intellect". The difference is significant because the Metal Dexterity talent lets Shaman convert Int to AP....so if it increases mana again (as it does currently) then Shaman lost a potential 10% AP increase.
Phaelia Jul 21st 2008 6:46PM
In addition to the bloat mentioned above, the Druid talent tree also lists a much earlier version of Omen of Clarity (that only procs from melee and not spell casting) and a much, much weaker version of Flourish than we've seen. These seem very out of date.
