Sleeper Cartel holds their Summer party (and Horde Diplomacy)

And here's another player-run party: on July 27th, a couple of Hordies on Steamwheedle are planning a "Tribune of the Horde" RP event --
Sounds interesting -- we always love hearing about (and hopefully attending) events like this. If you're putting one on, feel free to tip us about it, and if you go, take lots of screenshots and send them back to us so we can see what players are up to in the realms.
Update: I never did understand RP -- the people running the Horde event emailed us to say that they're not looking to replace Thrall at all. Instead, they're convening a Tribune of the various Horde races to voice their concerns and working up a scroll to take to the Warchief himself -- they're working in complete concert with the current Horde, they just want to make sure the voices of the little people (and trolls, and Undead, and so on) are heard. Our apologies for the misunderstanding, especially for the suggestion that anyone was trying to take over from Thrall. For the Horde!

Mike: Is this an RP event? I've heard of Sleeper Cartel before, but don't remember the details on their Guild.

Not an RP server, Perenolde is just a little backwood spot on the map. I've been there since launch, and the Sleeper Cartel is always doing cool stuff like this. Great bunch of guys.

They say that if you mail them in game early they can summon you to the party (in case you're a lowbie). Does anyone know where in Azeroth (or Outland) this is happening? If we make a lowbie do we really need a summon, or can we just walk?

Considering the Horde is teetering on the brink of civil war, I find any changes in leadership to be unlikely and hardly of any help.

Im the player hosting the Horde rp event - the article really mixed up details on our rp event. We are NOT replacing the Horde leadership...
The rp is that the tribune was ordered by thrall to take a census of the Races concerns, thoughts, and ideas before their peers - a scrib taking the details of the meeting back to the War Cheif. Its NEVER been said to be a replacement of Horde leadership.
I'm pretty disappointed at how wowinisder presented this event.

We are more than happy to welcome anyone who wants to roll on Perenolde just for this event. It's being held at between the Maclure and and Stonefield farms in Western Elwynn Forest. The theme of the party is running with the the "Hatfield and MacCoy" basis of the story of the two families.
As has been said, we've got lots events going on. Please check out the guild's site -- www.sleepercartel.com -- for our full-page ad on all of our events to be held.
As for "Is this an RP event?": Whenever we do our parties, someone always thinks they're an RP event. Sure, they have a theme, but if you throw a costume party for Halloween, it doesn't make you a LARPer. :)
