Matthew,

Go look at tier 2 of the elemental tree.
Then tier 3.

Elemental Devastation suddenly looks incredible when that crit from lava burst happens.

Elemental Focus for the next 2 spells means that we may not need anywhere the amount of mana we would expect. Additionally, twisting was mana intensive, but when SR was 30 seconds it was easy. With the duration nerf it has been more problematic. Without twisting totems all that mana is freed up for spells with a huge reduction to their casting cost.

They seem to have decided that resto subspec was not needed for either elemental or enhance with their treatment of that tree and that's going to be an issue.

Are also possibilities. I just hope the tanks can keep up with the crazy threat we'll have with these builds.
