Ah, Kara pugs... I remember the first time I downed Curator. I had recently left my old guild as an officer (drama!) and was at the moment guildless. Seeing how it was harder to get groups I spent more time than usual in the LFG channel when I saw someone looking for a healer. Now, I was on my protection paladin but the healing gear was good enough to keep up with at least the first half of the instance. I told the PuG that and they took me in to heal. What happened next still makes me laugh. The MT realised that I wasn't Holy and started making a fuss about it. I said I could leave the raid if he wanted so they could get a proper healer, but he just left before the raid even started. Fortunately, my tanking gear was better than him, so I ended up being the MT.Half the PuG was from the same guild and was leading the raid, and I kept giving constructive hints to them during our course to Attumen. They seemed to like it and learn from it, and all of a sudden I was the raid leader. XDWe pushed on, and although there were a few mistakes and errors from all of us, we were able to get to Curator and kick his mechanical behind. Glorious.Since then I'm a lot more positive about PuGs, both in 5-mans and raid. :)
