For what it's worth, I'm not implying that someone managed to get our guildy's CD key and secret question answer...what I think is most likely is the rep on the other end of the phone either didn't follow procedure, or didn't have a thorough procedure to follow, in order to remove the authenticator.
And unless it was her cats, no one else had access to her stuff, at least not without breaking into her house. That's certainly a bit more far-fetched than a lazy customer service rep.
