They have to call up Blizzard. The biggest problem i see is with someone the victim knows (maybe not in this case). You might be able to trick a Blizz Employee here and there, but no a common occurence.
I am sure that if Blizz started getting a ton of calls to get the authenticator removed they'd be suspicious. Or atleast I'd hope so.
