Breakfast Topic: WoW-related merchandise and spin-offs
I bought my daughter's 'Future Horde' onesie from J!nx long before she was even conceived. I knew when I got my 'For the Horde' shirt that I wanted myself to have a matching outfit with my baby. I love World of Warcraft merchandise... I guess I'm just a real fanboy that way. I have some of the action figures, and I'm looking at getting Vindicator Marrad as soon as I set aside some RL Gold.My brother-in-law gave my wife and I the World of Warcraft board game a couple of years back, and I got more than a few packs of the Trading Card Game (although I was probably just hoping for some cool loot). I love the comic books -- both the ones from Wildstorm and the ones from Tokyopop -- and I enjoy a lot of the Warcraft-based comics online. I gobble up pretty much most anything World of Warcraft.
So here's something to chew on this morning: what World of Warcraft merchandise or spin-offs do you like so far? There's the Frostmourne replica, of course. And we've given away cool stuff from Manaprincess, too. The Bronze Kettle / WoW Insider's Shelbi Roach makes those awesome, awesome, awesome chibi items like stickers and keychains. What World of Warcraft-related stuff do you have? Do you make any of your own?

Did you only post about this topic for a chance to show off that cute little baby? =D
She's just the cutest thing ever! /hug for the baby

But staying on topic, I only collect the WoW novels. I'm planning on getting the comic book when they're trade paperback.

Oh I *know*
In the words of Dana Carvey: "Child ... too ... cute ... Must ... alert ... authorities ..."

I have a "green linen shirt" T-shirt, a Bigredkitty mug and...that's it, oh, and a hunter button and had a calendar last year. I like stuff, just can't afford the fancier stuff.

i won a For The Horde t-shirt from this very website a long time ago. it's fun to wear in public... you get knowing looks from that small percentage of the population, and no one else gives it a second glance.
it's always fun to get a "what server?" from people out in that big scary place with the bright yellow orb and the fresh air.

I've got the green linen t-shirt, and the tanks, your welcome shirt. A pair of horde and alliance earrings. the world map poster, and a cell phone charm and key ring....
And i've made some of the crafts on here, the mana pots/health pots, the picture frame, a pillowcase, hearthstone earrings...
Wow... I'm a geek... I'm going to stop there... and never tell my fiancé that I have done/have all this lol
but I suppose he does play too...

Eh... I've got a For The Horde shirt, and that's about it. My wife, however, has the Illidan and priest class babydoll shirts and an Alliance shirt in addition to her Horde shirt.
I'm not too big on buying memorabilia and merchandise, for the most part.

I have a horde decal on the back window of my truck (it replaced a very old, sad looking slytherin one :[ ). I also have a rogue shirt (and bought my boyfriend the shaman one so we could match, hehe :') ), a shirt that says "less QQ more pew pew", and right now I am in ownage of my boyfriend's BC shirt. No one has come up to me personally in public and said something, but I was with my boyfriend once at the mall and he had on his Alliance shirt (neither of us play alliance anymore) and some guy talked to us for like half an hour about WoW and it was rather hilarious.
I digress. I would love to have more WoW swag and am actually considering getting some trading cards (just because I want phat l00tz, really). WoW merch is fun and I like to represent :D

I have a bloodsail buccaneers shirt, which is love :D it doesn't look particularly wow-y, so I don't feel too self consciously nerdy. :)
I am tempted by a bunch of cool looking horde stuff now, I was never tempted by alliance motif... but I'm a dirty reroller, so I probably shouldn't ;)

I have a few t-shirts, a couple buttons. I'd like to get some more "trinket" type stuff, keychains, stuff like that.
A friend of mine has the WoW credit card, one day we were at a restuarant and he used it, about 5 minutes later the cook came out from the back and was all excited, stood there talking to us for about 10 minutes about WoW, pretty funny.

I've got a For the Alliance! pin, and plan on getting one of those Hunter tshirts from Jinx.

I love seeing WoW stuff!
Hubby and I share so we have one each of the non-Alliance shirts from Hot Topic and he got me a Horde hoodie for my birthday last year.
We have several of the action figures (still in their boxes) pinned up in our computer room.
We got starter sets of the card game, but still haven't opened them for some reason.
As for custom WoW items -
Shirts that I made of our guild tabbard, a PVP flag mug with hubby's nickname and a shirt/car sticker of a Horde Shaman logo I designed.

I have the 'Molten Core' Tee, which comically says 'LF39M MC' on the back.
I also have a 'Bloodsail Buccaneers' tee, and pretty much all the books. Art, Atlas, 2 copies of the collectors edition swag. Its all pretty awesome.
I have bought the trading cards, hoping for some loot mind, and I wouldnt put it past getting more.
I would buy the figures, but no where to put them!
I think im the only person who plays wow, whos partner doesnt. I would love her to, but she just wont. She thinks its lame. pfft.
grab Jul 24th 2008 10:45AM
she's lame!
grab Jul 24th 2008 10:50AM
my girl is lame too... :( but at least she likes to watch... less kinky than it sounds... i'm sure watching will get old when she starts spending more time with me...

I love my wow stuff. I have a tee-shirt that I never wear becuase its blue, and I just don't wear blue shirts, I look silly. I used to have all the books untill I split with my ex. I have a bunch of crap that I had for fun. I'm hoping to get some of the action figures soon, since I love that crap.
What I would really love though is a Void Walker stuffed animal. I've been meaning to make one myself, but just don't have the time anymore, so an offical one would be awesome.

I got Vindicator Marrad for my birthday from my guild master (and good friend ;)). Other then that, I don't think I have any other interesting WoW related merchandise. Being hardcore Alliance, I'm very jealous on the cool looking Horde logo, and wish I could wear it without feeling like a traitor ;).
I've been tempted more than once into buying WoW t-shirts and the TCG, but have been able to resist so far.

I bought the "Level 70 Husband" beer stein for my husband for our anniversary, and the +10 cooking skill apron for my brother-in-law for his birthday.
I'm sure I'll be buying more in the future ... probably a "Level 80 Husband" stein for our anniversary next year, lol.

I have a Horde and Rogue patch, but I've yet to find a suitable article of clothing to put them on. I'd like to find a vintage sport coat with a good cut and put them on the shoulders. Or possibly on a rugged messenger bag.
I have some of the cards, but oddly enough I was more interested in actually playing the game that the loot. I haven't quite put a functioning deck together, though.
Once I took a picture in-game and printed it at an actual photo kiosk. It was mostly an experiment, but it turned out pretty decent.
Lastly, I've saved a bunch of my old in-game gear with the hopes that I'll one day get a FigurePrints-type figure. Still not sure what I'd want to wear for that.

Holy carp, how could I forget??? I made a shirt that says, "My boyfriend's totems are bigger than yours" and on the lower right side of the back it says, "Horde FTW" because I didn't have enough glittery silver and gold letters to actually put "For The Horde"... It took FOREVER to make that shirt, lol because the damn letters wouldn't stay on. Faulty iron-ons...
