My immediate concern with the so-called "exotic pets" is what happens when the Hunter doesn't have the talent anymore. It seems unlikely blizzard would "delete" your trained/talented pet, but at the same time, it hardly seems fair that any Hunter could simply spec 51 points BM, train their pet of choice, then respec.

And now that I think about it, what about those 5 points? I wonder if respeccing will also untrain the pet?
