I think the uber buff to the arcane tree while underbuffing the others is a sign that Blizzard intends to reward deep content mages. Notice, non of the new talents account for the inherant huge mana pool needed to make the arcane tree viable. I like this move. Currently there is nothing better than a deep fire mage for raiding because of the mana inefficiency of arcane, even with 2+ T5. I like the buff to arcane, and hope they don't nerf it too bad in the future. As for fire and frost weakness, we can only hope that blizzard "fixes" the current builds or introduces some better DPS gear builds. I also think we are going to need to see a huge buff to threat reduction to accomadate all of these buffs (at least in raid).
