Earlier today,
Moviewatch Smackdown looked at a
story-related action flick, but some of you may be up for some pure action. Despite its title, as well as over 230,000 downloads and a 4.94 rating on
Warcraftmovies, this Rogue PvP movie,
Tosan 4 - Trying Too Hard, doesn't take itself too seriously. With a typical soundtrack involving Linkin Park, as well as some humorous dialogue peppered in between the fight scenes,
Tosan seems to have scored himself a crowd favorite. While it's not my particular cup of tea, I can definitely see why it received so many views -- he had fun with it!
How does Tosan 4 fare against Trollbane? Is this preferrable to storyline or music videos?[Via

I don't understand -- if these videos are meant to be competitive, as you seem to be implying with the title of "Moviewatch Smackdown" and asking "How does Tosan 4 fare against Trollbane? Is this preferrable to storyline or music videos?" -- shouldn't you have put the videos in one post for easier compare/contrast?

Is this supposed to be impressive ?

The PvP crap which takes less than ZERO effort to make, should not ever be compared to music or storyline videos.
Especially if they have such disgusting emo diarrhea as Linkin Park in their music.

figures everyone hates it but i actually was entertained for the first time ever. probably because i know all the people in there. and sheriff is a toolbag :)

I'm unimpressed. Don't Alliance always complain about vids of Horde in PvP gear ganking people who aren't. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he's wearing PvP gear going after PvE people, and not doing all that great a job.
After seeing an Undead Rogue down a NE hunter that was tearing up Splint Tree Post in 6 SECONDS FLAT, I find this video wanting.

Are you guys even watching past the first few minutes? The video's about comedy and fun times, not about pvp prowess. He's got gladiator on both his characters, isn't that "skilled" enough for you random rookies who probably can't break 1700 ratings?
Learn to enjoy a video based on fun and entertainment, don't watch 3 minutes and assume the entire video is the same thing. If you can watch this and NOT have a smirk on your face by the end, you're not human.
It really picks up after the second song especially, so if you're judging it without watching the entire thing, you're just immature.
I watched it and enjoyed it, made me laugh many times, and I liked the music.

This is all good feedback, guys. I experimented a bit to see your reaction to different genres. So far, WotLK seems to be winning.

This reminds me why I setup on a PvE server.
The game can be discouraging enough when levelling at times, this would just be ridiculous. Praise be Arena so folks like this can play elsewhere.
That said, cleverly put together, border line Surfing/Skater flick. Nice genre for PvP videos to slip into, being of a competitive nature.

I loved it. Wonderful.
I hope to see more of these PvP type videos.
Very impressive editing and nice effects.
Now I have to see his other vids >.>

"I'd like to make it clear that, this video is not about PvP Prowess of any kind. It's about pure fun.
I have always enjoyed the softer, funner, more comedic side of PvP, the reason we all play this game, for the FUN of it, nothing else should matter when playing a game, to be honest."

I'm baffled as to why you picked this video to showcase PVP vids.
As has been noted this is a crap ganking video showcasing a class everyone hates with a soundtrack that could only appeal to a 15 year old boy.
Admittedly that is a good number of people who play Rogue, and they are influential. However, its nothing most of us want to see in a PVP vid. Next time try Faxmonkey, Radikal, the Fat Cow, Vaesilious, or if you have to do a Rogue try Buddhist or Neilyo. All those guys have senses of humor, and aren't just random gankers.

I liked this video. The rogue himself might not be "OMGWTFPWN" caliber, but it's well-put together and humorous. That makes it good in my opinion.
And screw you guys, i like the music.

Typical rogue that never stands still running back and forth not only making the video dizzying, but also taking full advantage of any lag which makes rogues jump all over the screen. Disgusting.
