Druids get polar bear form in Wrath with new Glyph list

Empowers a Minor Glyph to cause your Polymorph: Sheep spell to turn the target into a baby penguin.
Not only does this suggest that the days of learning separate poly spells for turtles, pigs and so on are gone, it's a cool way to help bring variety to a standard ability. Of course, since the vast majority of glyphs are for druids, we're seeing a lot more straigtforwardly useful ones, like Glyph of Frenzed Regeneration and Glyph of Shred, but Glyph of the White Bear looks pretty cool as a possible harbinger of what's to come: imagine a whole host of such glyphs for each and every druid form? Glyph of the Black Lion, anyone?
This suggests a lot of potential for personalization in the new Inscription profession. Anything you're looking forward to? I hope the ones for warriors are as cool, myself.

It'd be nice if they fixed cat form for female tauren druids to well not be a male lion? Please?

I can't even imagine anything interesting for rogues...I have a feeling that inscription might make me sad.

Here's hoping for a warrior glyph that turns us into a cat in Berserker stance and a bear in Defensive stance.
Free druid without a reroll, at least visually, and it might cut back on complaints about warriors being "boring".
Better yet, make us a Worgen in Berserker stance. I mean, the Kirin Tor are experts in the Were-Worgen. It's a demanded race. Unlimited costume buffs are demanded. People claim warriors are visually "boring".
C'mon! Make my Berserker stance perma-Worgen form!

Oooh, or worgen-form when you pop berzerker rage? /drool

Very Awesome, hope they have many different types for each form, giving druids a large variety of animals. I would go as far as changing the druid quests at the beginning so that you could get different ascetic forms, and based upon the one you choose the quest would be different.

Who called it? Look back on the preview of Inscription?
Glyph of the Frozen North: Changes your (Dire) bear form to use a Polar Bear model.
I had the name wrong, but the effect was spot on!
Anyway, Inscription looks intriguing.

Admittedly, it wasn't much of a stretch to imagine...so it's not a great prediction...

I'm guessing that you could probably change how your pets look as a warlock too. This should do a lot for character customization at least initially. It also works well for Blizz because now instead of having to do changes to unpopular skin models they can just put it in Inscription.

Personalization in WoW? Nah, that will be nerfed.

grats, copy paste news from mmochamp again!!

Imagine if a Druid used a glyph that prevented you from reverting to your natural form, and instead bypassed the system into letting you become a different race?
Whoo! Jul 30th 2008 3:46AM
Oh thank god we Druids can finally change at least one of our forms to something different!
I'm glad they at least gave us one tiny option to change apperances, hopefully there will be more.
Soo very happy right now! ^^

This is nifty. I wonder if, for mages, they'll add the Polymorph: Turtle as an option since practically nobody goes to Zul'Gurub anymore?
STereo Aug 1st 2008 12:18PM
I would like to see Hunter's Mark as a huge hand pointing down at the target.
sarah Aug 1st 2008 12:49PM
i would like to be a white/blue snowy moonkin with icicles hanging off of my antlers and some sort of snowy/smoky aura.
Tarvos Aug 30th 2008 9:29AM
I hope the fake glyph that makes Avenging Wrath wings look like Tyrael's wings turns out to be true, I'd get it if it were a minor glyph just cuz it'd look awesome
