For a while, co-lead Schramm was searching for good WoW jokes. We seemed to come up short on things that were both clever and funny. Pick up lines, on the other hand, are more common. The in-game /flirt function ranges from corny to crass. Do you think you could do better?

Varanis of Silvermoon (NSFW) said in the Wrath forums that he's willing to pony up his beta key to the best WoW pick-up line. Whether or not there's truly a beta key involved many have joined in the sport. Some of the lines are pretty crass and others miss the WoW component, but there are some real gems in there. Some of my favorites are:

• Vikhammer of Uther: "Hey baby, shouldn't your body be purple? Because it's totally epic."
• Ohmehgahd of Alexstrasza: "I lost my lips, can I borrow yours?"
• Whoru of Durotan: "Your gear may be epic, but your body is without a doubt Legendary!"
• Foxtehhammer of Kael'thas: "Nice pants, baby. What's the drop rate?"
• Tyranar of Hyjal: "Hey baby, thats my heart you just rolled on, and it's BoP."
• Resarcio of Scilla: "I know theres a bad case of Thunder Clap going around, but don't worry...I spec'd Protection."

I thought of a few of my own: "Is that an epic codpiece, or are you just happy to see me?" or "I'm female, irl," or maybe "You know what they say about men with big pointy ears." What's your best in-game pick up line?
