Ricole Nichie lurks in the World's End Tavern
Keen-eyed and oddly-geared Dwarf Priest noticed somone a little odd hanging out at the World's End Tavern in Shattrath. Lounging about, sizing up the likes of bag-meister Haris Pilton, the Eye of Divinity let Dwarf Priest see a spectre lurking, lurking at the Tavern's floor. Not a Raven, ever more, but Ricole Nichie.
Ms. Nichie has been lurking there for a little while, but you can (apparantly) only see her if you happen to have the Eye of Divinity equipped. And since that comes from the Cache of the Firelord from old Molten Core -- it's not like you're going to see a lot of those flooding the game any time soon.
This kind of thing just goes to show how rich World of Warcraft can be, riddled with many easter eggs and sideswipe pop culture references. This one's pretty obscure, even if it's been around for a while -- you have to be wearing a Priest-only item that's not really that useful in current content. Still, it'll keep inspiring the intrepid among us to peer a little closer at the World of Warcraft around us.

Chances of someone equipping a pre-bc class limited trinket which has no purpose over than as a reagent, in Shattrath, and in the right spot: 0.00002%

I want to know how you see the "Unseen" at Raven Hill. Two of my friends could see them, but I couldn't. They had to snap a screenshot and send it to me.

Detect invisibility buff from Warlocks makes the visible.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that she was added in the same patch that added the thereal merchant card game item. One of the things he sells you lets you see ghosts.

She's been there for at least about a year, going from board comments, and likely since the launch of BC. Just well-hidden is all.

I read something that said if a Warlock casts Detect Invisibility on you that you can see undead denizens outside Undercity, Darrowshire and Schoolomance... could it work here too?

So about 6 months. Not quite as old as the expansion, but ancient in internet time.

@Ryan:
The first post on Thottbot was 4 months before the one you quote even, but you have to note that was merely the first time someone who knew what was going on decided to take the time to post about it. She could have been there a lot longer!
This makes her 2.2.3 (Oct. '07) or older, and my guess is she's been there since day one, but gone unnoticed.

I concur.

Do the Scholomance quest chain, you receive a trinket that lets you see these undead ghosts in many locations. They did change the item to prevent you from seeing the ghosts in the Benediction quest line with anything other then the Eye of Divinity, but the rest are still quite visible.

If you equip it it will say "Only works in Caer Darrow"

Spectral Essence is only usable on Caer Darrow.

They should move her to Lake Wintergrasp for Wrath and she can drive towards all the oncoming vehicles.
Or maybe they could put her in the Stockades for an hour or so and then release her due to "overcrowding".
