I played (and quit) AoC. I think the best way to sum up the game is I didn't feel the urge to play everyday like WoW. Even on days I didn't want to play WoW, I would at least pop in and look at the AH or chat with friends for a few minutes. AoC just doesn't have "it".As for WAR, I am in the beta and the game is as good as advertised. Some bugs and balancing issues still being hammered out, but I think that WAR will easily be the #2 MMO. The only way it will "beat" WoW is in the long run with support and content after launch.And btw, I was concerned as much as anyone about the capital cities and classes being removed, but it has had ZERO impact on the game. It really will only matter once you hit top tier and ranking and by the time large numbers of people get there the content will be back in the game.
