And now the column's title rings true, for now we do indeed see that for all our egoes and deeds, we are but players upon Blizzard's stage. We might have our own struggles and triumphs, but, in the book of history as it is written, we are merely soldiers, sorcerors, thieves, all in the employ of the greater faces of Lore.

After all, when the tale is written, it will be Maiev and Akama who have defeated foul Illidan, not Pwnsyou the elven rogue, Kneebasher the gnomish warrior, and Loldots the human warlock.
