From what I've seen there is nothing really done beyond just going about normal leveling to "acclimate" with your faction.
One of the DK's I have is a troll and she was friendly with all but Undercity and Silver Moon... with those two she is Neutral. But easy to rep grind if you hit those beginning areas for maybe 30 minutes to hit Friendly.
