WoW Insider Show Episode 49: Death Knights picking Peacebloom
The latest episode of our podcast is now up for listening over on WoW Radio, and in there, Daniel "BigRedKitty" Howell, Duncor the Dependable and I all break down the Wrath beta at length, talking about what we're most excited about (and what you're most excited about, too).- We talked about the rumored changes coming to raiding mechanics, including the much maligned potion sickness and possible changes to crushing blows.
- Since BRK was on, we chatted about our Hunters (mine is almost 69, hopefully 70 soon) and what he expects for the expansion, from exotic pets to new pet talents.
- We talked about the new, smooth regen mechanic and whether it helps or not.
- And we talked at length about Inscription, how it works, and whether we were into it. I'm very into it, the other guys not so much.
Which is going to be a good one, by the way -- as you may have noticed, next weekend is our 50th show, so we'll have to do something fun. More singing? Giveaways? Drinking by the host? You'll have to tune in and see. As always, enjoy the show and we'll see you next week.

I actually had a dream last week that I was writing for wow insider. It was weird. We all met for a meeting at a place like a YMCA or something.

I really enjoyed BRK's contributions to the community until I listened to this. Now I find him arrogant, condescending and generally very grating on the nerves.
One thing you could never say about BRK is that he's humble.
Also, you twit, wtf is a Why-vern? What is a Chime-era? And for the record, I've seen far fewer cats roaming outland than I have boars, ravagers and even warpstalkers.
Turn off your mouth. Getting tired of hearing your preach about the godliness of yourself and your best dps EVAR class.

Aww crap. He reminds me of me :(
Sean Riley Aug 5th 2008 8:56PM
Absolutely agreed. Please, don't bring him back onto the show.

I couldn't agree more, I didn't like him on the show a couple weeks back. Think I might just skip this one entirely.

I listened to the live show for once and was a little disappointed that there were several blatant bits of mis-information being passed about. (Namely that the new stable slots and potion sickness were not live in the beta, when they clearly are.)
Nothing major, it just rankled me that these guys weren't so well-informed. haha. Still, a solid show.

a bit off topic, but anyone know what song they sample for the intro music?
Blackhorn Aug 5th 2008 5:02PM
It's something by Radiohead.. Kid A album?
Sean Riley Aug 11th 2008 8:24PM
It's The National Anthem by Radiohead, from Kid A, unless I miss my guess.

I did kek a bit over the "chimera" pronunciation.
Good show, anyway.
