Yea, because those pure DPS classes don't bring anything to the table besides damage...HUH?Mages will again be kings of AoE and offer a ton of control options. Warlock and Mage debuffs making everyone's damage better means they will still show up. Warlocks CC options are not in question, no shadow priest is banishing an elemental. Hunters remain able to kite things easily along with their damage increasing buffs in BM and Survival will be wanted. Rogues are just plain wrong and will now be able to do AoE damage to remain near the top.Yes, hybrids are getting nearly the same damage. They should. Pure classes are getting utility buffs that are making them more useful and wanted for raids. Meanwhile the hybrids are getting similar buffing options or better and so their damage needs to be about the same.If every class offers great and unique things to increase the effectiveness of the raid and can do their role extremely well (tank, dps or heal) then everyone benefits. Hybrids doing comparable numbers to a "pure" class means you can make the "pure" classes bring more to the table than just damage. My raids depend on the unique abilities of every class we bring. We can tell when we are short of something very important like CC or AoE. This is how it should be, and if anything, it should get better with all the classes getting good buffs to utility and synergy.
