Ancro, that rogue did not deserve it as much as the hunters did, despite your rationalizations. I know cronyism happens, and that the raid leader has the power to be a jerk, but implying it was a better upgrade for the rogue just shows you don't understand.
Hunters not only have to continuously buy the best ammo and they have to buy the best quiver/ammo bag they can get. This bow would have essentially helped them not only improve their personal dps (and, as a result, raid dps) but also earned them an extra bag slot—something rogues take for granted, since they don't really "need" a quiver and they don't really need to buy any really good ammo.
They saw orange, and they thought it would be fun to give it to a friend rather than to those who not only deserved it because of who they were but because of what they just did: helped them get the drop in the first place.
Maybe they should give druid leather to Analogkid, too. I mean, really... since he's sooooooo deserving of any good drops.
