It definitely should have been "get along little bloggies"

...but doesn't Hudson know that to refer to a game as "the WOW-killer" (or something similar) is to doom the game to low subscriber rates and eventual obscurity?
(It's nothing to do with how great WOW is, and everything to do with marketing and puffery blowing another game's qualities so far out of proportion that they can't possibly live up to new subscribers' expectations.)

Hudson's Hideout definitely had an interesting view, but one that should be taken seriously.
Sadly, I've met many a WoW player that loathes PvP, Arenas, BG's etc., but cannot get enough from PvE. They actually even detest the players of PvP, so much so that when they come into BG's, they do nothing to help win, but criticize PvP players about their 'welfare' epics.
Suprisingly, there are PvP players who ENJOY BOTH PvP and PvE and have SETS OF GEAR FOR BOTH. So the unbiased claim is trolling at its best and should be kept to the Trade Channel and not in BG chat.
One of the things that has irked me from WoW's inception is that Blizz is notorious for making FANTASTIC games. WoW PvE is innovative and has netted them over 11 million players. Before that SC, D/D2, and WC all were great franchises with excelent games. I just don't understand how in some of those previously metioned games, the multi-player versus (PvP) were really really enjoyable, even if they weren't OVERLY rewarding. I would play WC3 over bnet for hours, simply b/c I really enjoyed the strategy and the only thing I ever got from it was a unique icon.
What happened? Why could WoW PvP work out this way to provide just as entertaining a time as its PvE. I enjoy the PvP thoroughly, but I will heartily admit that it could use some work.
