I just realized that maybe they're TRYING to make you feel like it's an exercise in futility and you don't have a choice. You are essentially a mind-controlled slave at this point, after all.

As long as they don't do anything similar for the next hero class that comes out, I'll try to keep my curmudgeoning to a minimum.
