- Natural Stone/Bone Chips
- Red/Black Feathers
- Hemp Jewelry Cord

Nice concept and realistic design.
But, am I alone by thinking that it is absolutely disgusting? Take a step back... from a different perspective, you're just wearing dead chicken bones around your neck! Psycho homeless bag lady jewelry!
I'd use costume bones instead...

Chicken bones is disgusting. You should go for the human finger bones, much more realistic.

That's why you boil them and bleach them. It gets rid of any leftover meat so they don't smell or rot, and gets rid of any germs too. Maybe you should read the actual steps taken in the project before commenting next time ;)

Maybe I'm squimish, but I don't think I could handle actual jewlery made out of bones.

I think this is what the native americans did. The sculpey business was booming up until about a century ago.

Bugger, like most everything we wear now isn't made from something dead or at least harvested from something living. I think it looks good, great design and easy to follow walk through.
My wife may not be happy to get this for a gift but looks to be something different to do on a rainy day.

I was once given a book for Christmas "How to make a dinosaur skeleton using chicken bones" (from my boss, funnily enough . . . yes, she had a strange opinion of me I guess!). She bleached a huge load of chicken bones and carefully wrapped them with the book. I left it under the tree on the run up to Christmas. After a few days the house smelled like an abbatoir and, I had no idea what was causing the stink. I found out on Christmas morning!
