Around Azeroth: You have completed World of Warcraft
Congratulations! Would you like to play again in Extreme Mode?
This screenshot comes to us from Ben, whose cryptic explanation for this pic was "the end of the world, only used rocket boots and slow fall to get there." Are we talking the chronological end of the world? The literal edge of the map? The thing that happens when you fall through the surface of Azeroth? Or has Ben done the unthinkable and actually finished World of Warcraft?
Do you have any unusual World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see it on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. We prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more sunsets.

i've seen a video of some guy getting to the edge of the world via swimming but it certainly didn't look like this... the ocean just stopped and he couldn't go any further and it just was gray for forever beyond the end of the ocean...

Having been to the end of the world in game, this is not what it looks like. While this is definitely outside of a map somewhere (I recall an area that looks similar outside of ZF) there are many places that look like this. The 'actual' end of the world is simply open space. If you jump into this open space, you get stuck and are considered 'moving' forever and there are only a few ways to actually get out. (Battleground queue is the easiest)

That could be from outside of AV also... taken before wallhopping got fixed :P
Azeroth is full of places like this ^^

It is still possible to do this in AV.

oh no... does this mean that WoW is a program ran by an evil computer who is studying dwarfs, trolls and friends?
Is this the World Of Matrix? Neo?? Are you here?

"while your first question maybe the most pertinent you may or may not realize it is also the most irrelevant"

You can see a place just like this if you swim from Tanaris around the southern border and all the way to Southern Silithus. Ocean ends and you just get these weird humongous white walls. I found this place back in the day trying to find a way past the AQ gates before they opened.

This is one of the better pictures I have seen for screenshots gallery in a while!

You can get to the edge of the world pretty easily. Give a level 1 priest a few spirit enchants and go swim wherever you want. Your health regen outdoes your fatigue damage.

Fun stuff.
Ive heard blizz might bring more cool secrets and exploration to do in WRATH.
Anyone remember the wetlands farm?
Some call it unfinished product,I call it a feature.
