WoW Moviewatch: Muffins WotLK Exploration Part 70-77
Muffins did a great job with her most recent exploration video. If you're looking for another artistic take on the new locations available in WotLK, this is the movie for you. The areas that she visits include Howling Fjord, Borelean Tundra, The Nexus (Instance), Utgarde Keep (Instance), Crystalsong Forest, Dragonblight, Stone Halls (Instance), Drak'tharon Keep (Instance), Zul'Drak, Dalaran, Sholazar Basin, and Grizzly Hills.
The other day, I mentioned that Razzik may have had his exploration video removed from Vimeo. While I have yet to confirm it with him, there is a comment on Muffins' WCM page saying that they removed hers. I'll be weighing in on this shortly with some additional news from other sites, as well as recommendations for where to keep your machinima safe.

Vimeo is dropping the banhammer on game videos for some reason.

Great video, its becoming clear that Northrend is a helluva lot cooler looking than I'd initially thought.

That poll about info on wotlk a couple articles down? This is exactly the info I want to avoid.
I want to know how i'm going to play my character- i want to know the new talents so i can be prepared for what choices i'm going to make with him, but I don't want to feel like i've been to northrend already when i get there- i want it to feel like i'm discovering it. And this kind of info is what ruins that for me.
I know not everyone shares this view, but that's how I see it.
Moo Money Aug 8th 2008 12:29PM
Others do want to see it. You don't have to press the play button. I revealed nothing in this post.

yeah man, that's why i said,
"I know not everyone shares this view, but that's how I see it."
Shinkou Aug 8th 2008 12:54PM
Wow. That was amazing. I need to hurry up and get my DK in there, she's only at 65! Hopefully I'll see some of that tonight! T-T

Meh, just started the video and listened to the sweet music :p
Tabbed back ofcourse at the end in hopes of seeing a music credit list.
Moo Money Aug 8th 2008 12:51PM
She mentioned that if she got requests, she'd put a list of the music in her WCM video page.

Seems like they only invite the hardcore players of WoW to the WotLK beta, those with T6 or S3 characters. Or members of the press and media.
But I guess it's pretty understandable why Blizzard would rather want those players to try out the content than the casual ones.
Moo Money Aug 8th 2008 1:24PM
If it makes you feel any better, I'm not in beta. Of course, I don't play WoW at all, so that might be why, but hey. One less person in beta. :D
Darnodus Aug 8th 2008 5:43PM
I can assure you, far from everyone on the Beta is a hardcore player. I've seen more then a few people with, sorry to name it like this, scrub gear that have made vids/screenshots on the beta.
And like Moo Money above me said, I got T6 gear and we've just killed Illidan/starting SW and no one in our guild got an invite yet ;)

so isnt machinima scripted and "cine"amatic?
would'nt an exploration video of this type be a documachintary??
Chase Aug 8th 2008 2:01PM
OMG! I'm completely awestruck by this...I'm so torn, the part of me that doesn't want to see this in advance has completely fell prey to my desires to continue watching.
Bryan Dare Aug 8th 2008 5:37PM
Same here. Also I just didn't feel like sitting through the whole thing, but by the end I wanted more!
Oh, and I need every song from this machinima on my iPod RIGHT NOW! :D

Stunning video.
I've been fiddling with the Beta on a sandbox and was blown away, populated, this place looks astounding. I mean, Zul'Farrak looks good on it's own, but all those creatures chained up? Makes me wanna know what's happening there. I am more excited for this game than I am for any other in 22 years of playing videogames.

Great movie! I love the music, it's not that typical scream-o everybody else does in their videos.
bluebottleblues Aug 8th 2008 8:37PM
I wonder if any wc3 players feel guilty about trashing Dalarn (same as The High Elf Land)
Domestikos Aug 9th 2008 8:35AM
Looks fantastic! And sounds too; anyone knows the names for the pieces of music used here?
SuperBell Aug 11th 2008 6:55AM
Ah! Muffins!
I should've known it was her...
Anyways, I caught the ad on the Muradin server forums might as well check it out.
Great job btw.

Its just to bad that Muffins, also known as Vaoson on the muradin server, is a grade A piece of trash. I give it credit, its good at making videos.
