wow...i think this is the first mage thread where i haven't seen them QQ...*looks up in the sky for the impending armageddon*I jest...seriously, im glad that you folks are seeing some changes implemented that make u like ur class better, it seems that blizz is handing the luv stick around on most classes (can you believe pallys are happy too? amazing...are cats and dogs living together now?)glad to hear that you will hopefully obtain your preeminence as the ranged DPS masters, and with the buffs your getting it will seem that you will provide even more utility to raids then the other classes do right now. that mana return, btw, seems almost OP in comparison with everything else in existence right now, i wouldn't be surprised if it really is limited by the elementals survivability.this given, however, its a fine line to walk...range + dps + utility can easily become an OP situation. I hope blizz continues to maintain a balance when it comes to melee dps classes (rogue, fury warrior)...considering their utility aside from DPS in raids was limited before, there pushed even farther back on that chain (if you check out their talent changes, not necessarily stellar in comparison). its easy to be happy that ur getting buffs, but just remember that other classes need their viability too, and i wouldn't' be surprised if some of this at least gets balanced even more come wotlk. And please remember i specifically stated RAID...no comments referring to PvP needed, that's a different beast.
