The only people that I see against Potion Sickness are either elitists that get off trying to make things as difficult as humanly possible so that they feel better about the fact that they play the game 17 hours a day and are "hardcore" (when being hardcore doesn't require this) or alchemists that are just pissed that they won't be making 2-3k a week by listing a few pots on the AH. They might even have to switch to transmuting or making flasks, god forbid.
The difficulty of an encounter should be the encounter itself, and perhaps the gear it requires. Being "inconvenient as hell" by requiring hours of farming daily beforehand does not equal a difficult encounter, it just equals another massive time sink so that some can laugh when another guild has a few people graduate school and get a job that gives them enough time to play for an hour or so before the raid itself.
