What are the drop rates on the advanced First Aid books? I'm not looking forward to the AH prices on those items...
Also, is the similarity between the Tuskarr's boats and the naga boats (found around Darkshore, etc.) meant to suggest some kind of alliance or cultural cross?

Maybe just that they're both sea-dwelling creatures? I can tell you, personality-wise, they're not at all alike. (In that the Tuskarr, instead of attacking on sight, are pretty well pacifists.)

Well, I can say in the Borean Tundra, there is a Tuskarr that has you do quests, and eventually you get sent to a naga priestess because these mist men wiped out both cities. The impression you get from the naga is that the naga dislike the Tuskarr, but the Tuskarr don't seem to necessarily hate the naga because they are definitely more pacifist and honor dictated. Still, you do know they're at least very aware of each other, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Tuskarr picked up a few tricks from the naga. I would say no alliance whatsoever, but there is some cultural crossing as there would be between any two groups of sentient beings who are observing each other even if they don't get along. When you see that other guy doing something more effective than you, you tend to try it out- and sometimes, as it looks like, even improve upon it. *attempts to stop her history geekiness and her lore geekiness all in one swoop*

Orcs/goblins also used giant turtles as transportation in WC2.
