I got tickets at 2am GMT last night (6pm PDT or so). On my MacBook Firefox gave nothing but XML errors, Safari got caught in infinite log in loops but Opera worked perfectly and first time! I had my order placed in the time it took Firefox to (fail to) load the front page.
So when the site does go back up, then falls over within seconds from the traffic, people might want to try using Opera, it seems to cope better with the scripting and the errors from the huge amount of traffic. Certainly it's quicker and worked for me when all else failed.
See you all in Anaheim :-)

Also, you can create accounts on the EU store that work on the US store. So people with account problems can keep trying there while the US is down...
