Around Azeroth: An end to all things
Yes, it's another Wrath beta screenshot. They've been pouring in like rain lately, and I like to feature stuff we haven't seen before. This fiery photo, submitted by Jason on behalf of his beta-testing daughter Cami, shows the carnage of the Death Knight quest "An End To All Things ..."
WotLK appears to have continued The Burning Crusade's popular "jump on a mount and blow stuff up" quests. Instead of dropping smiley-face bombs on demon encampments, you hop on a Frost Wyrm and use deathbolts to nuke hundreds of Scarlet Crusaders -- or you can have your drake devour them whole. An unfortunate victim of the latter action is seen flying from the dragon's mouth here. And if you have a moral problem with carpet-bombing and/or eating Crusaders, I highly suggest you avoid the rest of the death knight quests. They sound almost as bad as playing Dark Side in Knights of the Old Republic.
This image came to us straight from the Wrath of the Lich King beta -- and we'd love to have your beta screenshots, too! If you have anything our readers might like, beta or not, sharing it is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. We prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. And yes, I know this is a sunset, but I still like the dragon.

Though I usually play the nice guy in any game, this makes for an excellent change of pace.

Sorry, but I honestly cannot tell what that red thing is. Is Santa Claus dropkicking that tree?

That's the corpse of a Scarlet Marksman, probably being discarded by the Frost Wyrm after it has consumed his life.
I like your answer better, though.

I would love to see a quest in which the Death Knight under Arthas's control is sent to bomb Light's Hope Chapel or something - a bit like Halaa, where you're just minding your own business, but there can be bombs falling on your head at any moment. It would really reinforce the idea that the DK is a nigh-invincible badass (since you can't really fight that sort of fight in old world) and it would add some dynamics and depth to the world.
