iIn general I like your wishlist although mine would be slughtly different. I don't want a familiar. They sound great but I've had them in other games and they tend to just get in the way of targeting. I'd prefer just having a passive buff instead of a flappy constantly making noise and getting on my nerves. I like the mirror image. Even if it just created exact copies of the mage that did whatever we did but in other locations but nearby. They could have 1hp and cast exactly what we cast but without actual damage. It would be all about confusion but I suspect difficult to implement.I like the idea of the confuse spell that another poster brought up. I played a sorceror in DAOC and we had a spell very similar to that. You'd cast it on a camp full of mobs and they'd all fight each other, even grabbing agro in the process. Then you could just burn them down without being attacked. In my opinion it was overpowered for pve but nonetheless very fun.I would be happy if they fixed blink but I mean, after 4 years I'm used to it so I'm not too worried. One thing that wasn't mentioned is that it would rock bawlz if frostfire bolt utilized the talents of both the frost and fire tree of the caster instead of picking an element based on the resists of the target. To those complaining that mages are complaining. This is a post for mages, by mages. Why are you even reading it?
