I somewhat disagree ... maybe your character could've been born intopirates or the Wastewander tribe in Tanaris. I don't rememer proofthat human pirates or the Wastewanders weren't in Kalimdor a coupledecades ago, and they could easily have no contact the humankingdoms. I wouldn't mind a light retcon to human that would make it "humanshave not heard about Kalimdor until a few years ago" to "rough watershave discouraged humans from going to Kalimdor until recently". It'sembarrising for the Kul Tiras to be the great human sailors thatdon't know about AN ENTIRE CONTINENT. Azshara can be blamed for theocean being almost unnavigable (Ocean voyages with wooden ships aretough enough without magic bleeping up things anyway). Also, howcould Anduin Lothar call himself, "the Lion of Azeroth" if there areno native lions in the Eastern Kingdoms? Humans had to learn of theexistence of lions somenhow.
