So I have to admit, one of the most annoying parts of Beta testing my Death Knight is that I don't have access to any decent tabards. It's annoying, and I feel almost naked without one, but I don't have the time to grind exalted with any factions.
Thinking about that got me thinking about my tabard choices for my other characters. Of course, in Wrath, tabards are going to get all mixed up a bit, what with that new championing system, but I'll probably keep my favorite tabards on hand for swapping in when I'm not grinding faction. Actually, I may just tend toward my guild's tabard in Northrend, since our guild's backstory is intertwined with Northrend itself. Besides, I like to show a little guild pride when I can, and it's been a while since I wore a guild tabard on any of my alliance 70s.
Currently, my Druid wears the Cenarion Expedition tabard. Not only does the green and brown go well with his leather, but it's the closest there is to a Cenarion Circle tabard. For my Dwarf Hunter, it's an Argent Dawn tabard, since she's an especially zealous enemy of the Scourge. For my Warlock, the Scryer's Tabard, because he admires the Blood Elf race and (what he sees as) their dedication to knowledge at any price.
So why do your characters wear the tabard they wear? Do you plan to do any tabard swapping for Wrath of the Lich King?

I'm in an all Forsaken RP/PvP guild. So I wear my guild tabard since it's the closest thing to an Undercity Tabard (besides the defilers tabard, but I'm not grinding to exalted, no sir) I WotLK I'll proabably go with The Hand of Vengeance Tabard.

At level 62 I decided to get my blood elf Death Knight the Scarlet Crusade tabard, and it looks really great hehe, haven't found a better looking one yet.

I use the tabard of the protector since it has the cool use effect and practically no one has it anymore.

I dont wear tabards.
They look weird,are uncostumizable if your in a guild,look gay and have no purpose.

My shaman: The tabard from defending at the Dark Portal.
My hunter: Same, or the tabard for whichever BG I'm in, or Horde officer tabard in EotS. "Olympic" at the moment though.
My rogue: Sporregar! Who can resist a mushroom tabard.
My shaman alt: Guild tabard. He is the GL after all.

Mine is the "Purple Trophy Tabard of the Illidari" its quote makes a bunch of people think I've downed Illidan lol
Plus its not something everyone gets, or bothers with. It has the same markings you find on the orcs around Black Temple, so its one bad-arse tabard to me :D
Plus it fits with my netherwing defender shield lol

my main usually wears the Tabard of the Hand. yeah, she got it at lvl 20, but is still pretty and matches most of her outfits (if not, my guild's tabard, which is black). She's only 63, though, so I may switch to the Aldor tabard when I can :)

I don't wear tabards. For the most part carrying around the logo of some other faction seems silly to me, I'm not in a guild and even if I was most guilds suck at making tabards anyways, and since my mains are casters tabards look like shit over robes.
So yeah. No tabards for me. I'd probably go with a Tabard of Frost for my upcoming DK though, just for the Scourgey feel.

Right now my rogue wears the Summer Flames one from midsummer and my warrior wears my guild tabard. Mainly because I don't have another one for em.

Sha'tari Skyguard tabard since it was the first faction I got exhalted with (even Pre-BC I never bothered with grinding rep ever).
I don't normally wear tabards ever, espicially since it takes away from your chest armor if that looks nice, but I want to show off my first major grind!

Mage : Tabard of Flame. Epic tabard that matches my gear and fits considering my Mages spells are offensively Fire.
Paladin : Tabard of the Protector. Nice looking Black and White tabard that promoted the release of TBC and has a fun "Use" function.
Twinks : One is using the Tabard of the Competitor. Rare tabard that is promoting the Olympics. My other twink is wearing the guild tabard that resembles the Canadian flag (not Canadian though).

I usually don't wear one. My only higher level characters are Draenei, and a tabard has to really look GOOD with a Draenei's gear for it to not look terrible. It's funny, but with that particular race, a tabard can either look super great or horrendous, depending on their gear.
I don't really bother getting tabards for my alts. My 29 Warrior has a Competitor's Tabard and a Private's Tabard. Other than that, I haven't really put tabards on my alts.

depending on the character, i regularly switch between guild tabards and tcg tabards (flame for shaman, void for rogue)

I wear the Warsong Battle Tabard (horde).
It goes well with Shaman S2 and i'm very much a PvP player.
Currently trying to grind out Defilers (AB) rep for their awesome tabard.

My Warlock sports a SSO tabard because it goes well with the FSW set, I did have the Competitors tabard for a little while just for something different and it was new.
My warrior wears no tabard how are you supposed to see the sexy Pink mageweave shirt he is sporting?
