This "Recruit a friend" is already a stupid ideea.. I understand that Blizz is trying to bring more players in WoW and I'm glad to see new faces around but this RAF is out of limits..Like the majority of WoW players i've leveled my characters with a lot of work and frustrations and now they, the "RAF"-ers, are going through levels and Azeroth like a knife through butter... Imo, this is unfair. And it's not QQ, for all you that wanna' say it... it's just frustration...I have now a lvl 34 paladin going from behind and I see those newbies leveling 10 levels in the time thet I do 1! Is this fair? What's the point? Bringing more and more players and "push up" them or respecting some rules here, where all players are equal, Horde or Alliance as well?

lvls 1-10 are supposed to be very quick, an experienced player can do it in undcer 2 hours. But i still understand where you are coming from. lvling should not be made easier otherwise they'll only be doing a few quests in each area before going onto the next. This caps at 60 if im not mistaken. This means that as soon as they hit 60 suddenly what is normally a reasonable jump in experience between pre 60 and after 60 becomes a massive leap. your exp gain rate is less and the amount of exp you need is increased substantially.

I think he might have meant something like 20-30, which would make more sense in a rant of this kind :)

The 1-60 to 60-70 jump should actually be a bit more gradual as you'll likely have a good chunk of rested experienced saved up since you don't use it up while under triple experience. You won't be able to ride the whole of 61 rested (because of the XP jump), but combined with the bonus quest XP it should provide some transition space.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the RAF system when it's being used as intended. The recruited player only gets the XP buff when grouped with the refer-er. The idea is that you have a veteran player showing the newbie how the game is played, thus compensating for the decreased leveling curve. What bothers me is when I see posts in the wow forums where players start up a 2nd account, use the RAF system and dual-box their way to a lvl 60 character in a matter of hours, or even minutes. I find it ironic that Blizz discourages gold buying and account selling, yet leaves the barn door wide open for those that have more RL $$ to have a distinct advantage over those playing the game as intended.

ok, to explain i have two 70s and my wife has a 70 too. i started up a new account last week to try multiboxing(for a total of 3 accounts). now with MB u do have to have a main to give u money since its rlly hard to gather/farm with 3 low lvl mages/shams/druids.after a day or 2 i realized that i couldnt multibox with raf because my wifes account(with no raf bonus) wasnt getting any xp anymore(example, same 3 druids, same quests mobs, the 2 rafs were at like lvl 10, while wife was maybe 5 or 6). about this time my wife got jealous and wanted a second account too. since i needed n even number for the MB raf i figured "why not". so on friday 8/15 at 6pm we created her second account and with me playing on it, we rolled a priest/war combo(on a new server btw so we could play ali). 16 hours and 20 mins played time and 50 real world hours later we hit lvl 30. we bought our mounts, all our gear is pretty good, and we have all our skills. the secret was taking 3 gathering skills.in those 16 hours we gathered about 400 copper ores,200 tins, 160 peaceblooms, 200silverleaves, etc.we also sold all our cloth drops and the greens we didnt use. believe me, even without help it can be done and done right. can u lvl that quick, max out engineering, get a bunch of boe blues, and enchants? no but lets not forget, thats not wow anyway, i rlly think i wasnt wearing all greens until i was in my 30s on my first toon, didnt get a blue or an enchant til i was in my 30s too. as for epics, i dont think i get an epic til 16 months after i started playing. i rlly like going back to basics and i having to rlly stuggle to make money and get gear. and i plan on being 60 on those 2 toons by next weekend. as for my multibox 4 toons, thats gonna be ALOT harder. gearing up 4 mages with no instance drops is gonna be hard in the 30s and 40s. wish me luck:)

@GuyRecruit a 70 to boost you a few time through SM Library and Cath (Armoury has almost no caster loot), preferably a Protadin.
