I am very impressed with the warcraftpets.com site, I first stumbled upon it trying to search out more info on a few noncombat pets. I have always WANTED to be an avid collector, now with the spac thing not being an issue I will have a huge influx of the old pokemon feeling "gotta get em all"I have always held that certain of my characters work best with certain pets or vice versa. I play on a normal server and have some on an RP server, but I tend to name my characters along RP lines, and usually try to even adjust the look via character creation to the style I want the character to have.My NE rogue has white hair pulled up as much as can me and one of the shortest hairstyles because it is a sensible 'sneaking' hair cut. For my druid I have a sprite darter because that is a pet that is rescued in a very druidic treehugging way. I have mutliple pets for multiple characters including the orphans quest pets, but each toon has a 'main' pet.For my draenai female casters - kittens all the way white and siamese. For my hunter I want to have a plethora of pets because my hunter is a BM hunter, she should have LOTS of pets, but only normal critters not mechs etc.My warlock has a mana wyrm because they seemed the most magical (arcane) and the most likely companion for a master of demons (except mini diablo which I don't have)I want the firefly for my rogue because it seems to me that a class that is all about sneaking and shadows would find something oddly appealing about having a little light in their lives even if it is a creature found in the dark. I am not sure why but my loxbie shaman (female draenei) was created in mi mind with a spunky attitude, kind of a pre-crazy, pre-house burning Lisa Left Eye Lopez from TLC. Cute and spunky and not someone you want to really piss off. For some reason she seemed to be the one toon that the Chinese Dragon would be best suited to.But with the pets becoming non space hogs. . . I have never been more excited about one of the most arguably trivial things in the game. All in all in a world filled with look alike drones in Galdiator or Tier gear. . . a vanity pet goes a little way about making personal staements about you or your character that can't be made easily in other visually represented ways.
