Breakfast Topic: What profession will you be going for in Wrath?

With Wrath's release inching closer and closer, we've had a flood of profession information coming in. The latest Blizzcast gave up some insight into the future of professions, and we've seen rumors and recipe lists for quite a few professions. Even gathering professions aren't immune to the fun, with some nice little innate bonuses being granting to mining, skinning and herbalism.
So, with Wrath coming, it's the perfect time to take inventory of your tradeskills and decide which way you're going to go. Will you drop Leatherworking now that you don't need the drums for raiding? Will you head over to Inscription so you can trick out your own spells and skills? Will you go strictly gathering for the buffs and for selling off raw materials to everyone trying to level their professions?
In short, what profession will be your primary pursuit in Wrath of the Lich King?

I love professions and have 6 seventies and many more alts. You can bet I will be leveling all the professions as my many toons level. I have already picked out my inscriptionists and started stocking up on herbs...

Sticking with Mining and Skinning. Leveled with them so I'd have plenty of money for my mounts, and now I'm just used to having two pages full of AH money in my mailbox when I log onto my banker =P Plus, being a Paladin, extra crit and a ranged pull will be very nice.

I have classes that cover all professions and some with doubled up for gathering and am excited about the buffs for those gatherers. I do have a question about enchanting that no one seems to have really covered.
Isn't it about to get ugly for the dedicated enchanters who stand in shat and offer their enchants for a tip if you supply the mats?
I have never been one of those people and my main is an enchanter who farmed most of the spellpower enchants for his own use, and I am looking forward to my hard work payign off for my alts, but it stands to reason that the enchanters life is going to change for the worse as much as it is for the better. As a result of those changes, the economies are going to go into an odd state that they have not seen with regard to enchanting.
1. With more usable drops due to item syncronization, there are going to be less boss drops that are sharded. As a result there are going to be less shards in the AH. Who cares? Well first, everyone should care. Although I am the good enchanter who rolls for shards (and dont try and give me some bs on why I should, I dont see herbalist rolling with the group for ancient lichen or skinners rolling on the leather they acquire in a dungeon) it's obvious that there are going to be less shards rolled for, at least until we all hit 80 and are farming heroics. Less shards, even for purchase in the AH is going to mean that lvling enchanting is going ot be more difficult than ever. Simple supply and demand is also going to mean that those shards (now less of them) are going to me significantly higher in the AH. Lvling enchanting is not only going to be harder, but arguably more expensive than it already is.
2. I would guess there are 2 kinds of enchanters. The first kind is me, I have the profession as a personal achievement and know that I can offer enchants to friends and guildies, but never really make money unless I'm passing through a capital and read a request in trade and offer my services. The other kind of enchanter is the one that advertises in trade for an hour or so and offers their services for a fee. They (I hope with the time they put into it) make good money on an already expensive profession. These 2 kind of enchanters have never been at odds, but they are about to go head to head in the AH, and the result may be disturbing. The casual enchanter like myself will now be able to scroll my enchants and offer them up for a price, and that price may undercut the price of the hardcore profiting enchanter. After all, up until this point, I never made any money and have 3 enchanting bags full of OL mats. Currently on my server it's actually cheaper to buy a primal might than it is to buy the mats and have an alchemist do it for free. Yes primals are used for other things, and that may ultimately affect their current price, but the balance of mats and scrolls is going to be in constant conflict with the reduced shards causing the price to rise and the scrolls and the ability to undercut causing the scrolls to drop. What's the end result here? The dedicated enchanter is getting screwed with scrolls and I am now able to make money that I never thought possible.
I won't lie, I am going to enjoy this, so much that myp priest is lvling enchanting now for another way to acquire mats through BoPs, but while the mechanic shift is going to take down the current hurdle, the gear consolidation looks like its just going to put another one up in its place.

I'll stick with minning/Blacksmith, i'd love to see if there will be more upgrades to the lionheart executioner and the other weapon/armorsmith crafted items, oh yeah, and the gem slot addons or w/e are sure to make a good profit in the AH.

Pally: herb/mining
Lock: engineering/tailoring
I will be keeping both in WoTLK. Also buying up peacebloom, silverleaf, earthroot etc. for the power levelers.
Two gathering proffesions + epic flying mount = lots of gold really quick.

My pally is a blacksmith/engineering, he's going to be rockin' a motorbike + Titansteel destroyer mace. So not going to change his professions.
I also have a mage who is a tailor/enchanter and that magic carpet mount looks pretty cool. Still deciding on keeping enchanting or switching to Inscription. Sharding quest rewards and anything I make to level up tailoring is a great way to make money so I'm kind of leaning towards keeping it.
